While waiting in the Urgent Care, I was able to teach another crocheter how I start a new row so that ends of your scarf remain even.  Crochet has allowed me to connect with  people who normally would not want to spark up a conversation. Funny how through different generations we can bond with some yarn, a hook, and life conversations.
